Care Worker

Job Purpose:

  • To provide a range of personal, social, emotional and practical care tasks as required for the well-being of service users and their carers
  • To work towards an assessed and planned package of support, care or maintenance programme, enabling service users and their carers to exercise control over their own lives by maximising their independence
  • To provide a degree of social and emotional support to the service user
  • To provide a culturally and ethnically sensitive service which is integral to the provision of home care

 

Duties:

Experience is not essential as full training will be provided. The successful applicants duties will include personal care, shopping, preparing meals & other associated tasks within the clients home. We expect our carers to provide a high standard of care to all our clients at all times. Mayfair Homecare offer a good competitive salary & the chance to work within our existing dynamic and friendly team. Different shift patterns are available working from 16 to 40 hours per week between the hours of 7am and 10pm daily.

Team Leader - Mayfair Live-in

Mayfair Homecare and Mayfair Live-in have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Team Leader out of Basingstoke & Live-in branch.

We deliver a range of services in the community around Basingstoke and Live-in packages across the South of England. We are looking for an experience Team Leader, Care Supervisor, or someone with relevant experience to join the team.

Branch: Mayfair Live-in

The role would include a range of tasks such as.
• Quality Monitoring- Spot checks, Care Assessments, Supervisions, Annual Appraisals, Client Reviews, and other key monitoring task
• Auditing- Auditing MRC Charts and communication logs on a monthly basis
• Conducting Assessments- Completing care plans, risk assessments and setting new clients up with Mayfair Live-in.
• Working with external agencies- Liaising with social services, Doctors, District Nurses, and other key external partners
• Staff Induction- Supporting new Live-in & Homecare staff when they start, ensuring the care certificate is completed and they are supported.
• On call- We operate an out of hours on call service which you would need to take part in on a Rota basis as well as in times of need deliver hands on care.

The Team Leader role is focused on continuing to provide excellent care to our Homecare and Live-in care clients across the South of England. Our Basingstoke branch as achieved an 'Outstanding' in caring and excellent quality care is at the heart of our business.

Requirements

We are interested in speaking to candidates who:
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Health & Social Care
• Have or are working towards a NVQ Level 3
• Have access to a car and willing to travel across the south to complete quality monitoring duties.
